Management Web App - cms / cmr Interface

Situation
Sveriges Frimärksungdom (SFU), an organization uniting children and youth passionate about philately, faced the need for a modern and comprehensive solution to manage its members and website. Previously, they used multiple Excel files, and each club had its own membership list. There was a lack of a cohesive management system and a modern website.
Task
The main task of the project was to create a web application that would allow for the management of SFU's hierarchy, clubs, and members, as well as provide a modern website with a flexible content management system. The application needed to enable:
- Creating and managing the SFU hierarchy, including districts and clubs.
- Efficient member data management, including the ability to add new members and track their status.
- Membership payments, including importing a bank statement and issuing collective invoices.
- Generating various reports, including membership and payment reports.
- Creating and managing events in a calendar.
- Independent creation and management of web pages, including the ability to create subportals for clubs and districts.
- Content management on websites, including creating news and advertisements.
Actions
Within the project, the following actions were taken:
- Analysis of SFU's needs and requirements.
- Designing and developing the web application, including modules for member management, payments, reports, calendar, and content management.
- Implementation of the application and integration with the existing infrastructure.
- User training on how to use the application.
- Development and deployment of the website with a flexible content management system.
- Collaboration with developers and supervision of their work.

Thanks to the project, SFU obtained a comprehensive solution for managing its organization and a modern website. Key project results include:
- An integrated tool for member and payment management, eliminating the previous chaos with Excel files.
- A flexible CMS system that allows for the creation and management of subportals for clubs and districts.
- Easy access to information for members and the ability to promote events and advertisements on the website.
- An organized SFU hierarchy, facilitating organization management.
